I was reading Rolling Stone recently ( can’t remember which issue) and they had something about websites to check out and books to read. It noted this website Muxtape, which allows you to upload mixtapes and send your friends the link to check out your mixtape digitally. I think it is totally awesome. You can check out my most recent muxtape that was made with the intention of selecting music that I thought my dad would like. I’m going to try and update the mixtape once a week, probably on fridays. Feel free to check out the current mixtape and stay tuned for future updates.

So, I managed to make my roommates mad, so I left to go for a walk. I decided to record spring. Now, I don’t consider myself much of a photographer, but I think these photos came out quite well. And I definately pride myself on my superior squirrel photography.

This one is probably the closest thing to a jungle I’ll ever find in central Illinois

Summer Investment April 26, 2008

So, since this summer I will have the best job ever ( working at Anthropologie, one of my favorite stores), I will travel to China ( Shanghai, Beijing, and Xian), attend music festivals ( so far just Pitchfork), and have a general easy summer including visits downtown and lots of walking, I decided it was time to invest  in an absolutely necessary stylish backpack. Now it isn’t as easy as it sounds to find a stylish backpack. I enjoy wandering around in floaty dresses and distressed denim, so a heavy duty nylon backpack is not what I want. Nor do I want one of those cute but cheesy backpacks that won’t fit more than  a cellphone. That being said, I found the absolute best backpack on ebay. It should arrive shortly, and I can’t wait.

Have you ever seen such a wonderful vintage leather backpack
